The native utility token of the Polkastarter platform is Polkastarter (POLS).

 

Purpose

 

The POLS token is integral to the Polkastarter ecosystem and serves several key purposes:

• Access to IDOs: Holding POLS tokens is a requirement to be eligible for the lottery-based “allowlisting” system, which grants users the opportunity to participate in Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs). The more POLS a user holds or stakes, the higher their chances of winning a spot.
• Governance: POLS token holders have the right to vote on proposals related to the platform’s development, including new features, token utility, and which projects get listed.
• Staking and Rewards: Users can stake their POLS tokens to earn rewards and increase their “POLS Power,” a point system that boosts their allowlisting chances. Staking also provides access to exclusive pools and other benefits.

Polkastarter was co-founded in 2020 by Daniel Stockhaus, Tiago Martins, and Miguel Leite.

The team brought together expertise in business development, technology.

The product management to address the need for a more reliable and fair fundraising infrastructure in the decentralized finance space.
